Strong AI email security, but mainly for serious business teams

What works well is its behavior-based approach. Instead of only scanning message content, Abnormal models normal employee and vendor behavior to detect unusual emails, risky login activity, and attacks that may bypass traditional email security tools. This makes it useful for IT teams, SOC teams, and companies using Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. The main weakness is that Abnormal AI is not a simple tool for small websites or casual users. It is an enterprise security product, so pricing is not fully self-serve and usually depends on company size, users, and selected features. Setup may be easier than older email gateways, but teams still need security knowledge and proper monitoring.
